Hand crafted by Atlantic Pewter. Loved by locals & visitors alike the Three Sisters Lamp has stood gracefully since 1849 (replacing the original, single gas lamp installed in 1842). Facing out into the Bay of Fundy she initially guided sea captains & their precious cargo safely into Saint John Harbour, which boasts some of the highest tides in the world. Although replaced with major advancements in navigation, she is still lit daily, reminding us all that even on the stormiest of nights, or the foggiest of days you can find safe harbour here, in Saint John, NB.
Trivia: If the three lamps are visible from the water, you are steering correctly, any less and your course needs altering.
